Check very carefully in your purchase agreement.  Some vacation condos have a variety of zoning regulations.  Some may be zoned residential only, (rental of one month minimum). Some may be zoned tourist (rental up to a month) etc.  It can get complicated and its better to know before you have spent your money.  Then you need to know if you are getting locked in to a rental management agreement and what kind of fees you might get stuck with. This can be a real eye-opener.  You might think Wow we can get $225 per night - or $6750 per month - wow we will be rich.  In your dreams Sally - only in your dreams.  Check out the market place.  Actually see what you can get in the area and what they are charging.  Also remember they are already established in the market.  Be careful - Be Careful
